This may become something controversial but the idea of pet counsels sound perfect to me. I've got a bunch of dogs at home, and I wouldn't mind hiring my babies a lawyer if I get to need it in the future.

I've got dogs, too. I will hire one if i CAN hire one. Lawyers can sometimes (nah, oftentimes) charge you at unreasonable rates. There isn't much we can do, is there? If we need them, we gotta pay them.
