Baby Boomer Mistresses and How They Keep Their Men

The word ‘mistress’ conjures images of half naked women permanently dressed in see through underwear and sporting expensive jewelry, a cosmetically enhanced cleavage and a wicked smile. In fact, excluding the odd exception to the rule, baby boomers who are mistresses are invariably ordinary women who fell in love with a man they could not have.

Despite baby boomers’ reputation for sexual liberty, many of them find monogamy very comforting and spend their lives with one person or perhaps two at a stretch. There are a few, however, that become drawn to the dreaded love triangle like a moth to a flame and these sexual intrigues can cause considerable heartbreak and emotional turmoil for everyone involved. Psychological articles tell us that heartbreak can be more difficult to cope with in later life and in serious cases can lead to depression.

Baby boomer mistresses who have been attached to one man for a very long time experience all kinds of emotional insecurity as they get older, for obvious reasons. As they age and lose their looks they believe – in some instances with good reason - that their man will feel less affection for them, no longer find them sexually alluring and eventually seek someone younger.

By Boomeryearbook.com

There are about 78 million baby boomers in America and according to a USA Today survey, their saving quotients are a mere 34% of the money needed for comfortable retirement. It seems to have become an widespread American trait; many of us baby boomers are just not good savers. Yet good investment decisions are critical in order to survive difficult economic times. As baby boomers are reaching retirement, it is essential for us to alleviate as much stress as we can by investigating our financial retirement options. While pensions alone are usually insufficient to provide security and support a decent style of living, boomers should not allow recent market downturns to deter financial investing. We may always have debts and commitments, however, the challenge is to have a balance by adopting appropriate investment strategies and choose “personally wise” financial investments. And always keep in mind. The earlier you begin investing the greater the typical benefits.

What are the good financial investment ideas for baby boomers?

Does a Bailout For the Porn Industry Mean a Happier America

Should we bail out pornography?

Should we bail out pornography?

By Boomeryearbook.com

As you’ve probably heard, Larry Flynt of Hustler Magazine and Joe Francis of Girls Gone Wild, on behalf of the porn industry are requesting a $5 billion bailout plan. They claim that they are just as entitled as the Big Three (car companies) and Wall Street stating that supporting the porn industry will go a long way in improving the depressive attitudes of the American people. Flynt said in a statement to the media that Americans were too depressed to have sex and that this was unhealthy for the nation. He believes that a bailout plan for the porn industry would help to revive the nation’s libido. This begs the question then, is a bailout plan for the porn industry going too far?

Baby Boomers and Real Estate Retirement

There is a strong connection between baby boomers and real estate? Earlier on, the baby boomer generation preferred larger houses and having their kids enjoy large backyard playgrounds. But as they are aging and becoming empty nesters, boomers seem to be looking to downsize and downplay additional home maintenance; preferring to spend their time on volunteering, socializing, eating out and other away from home activities. Boomers prefer the convenience of delivery and short travel to restaurants and coffee shops. Thus, the days of boomers living in McMansions is over and they are opting for condominiums, town houses, carriage homes, and no maintenance single-family dwellings. Apart from low maintenance, boomers are also considering safety as a prime real estate motivator.
