What is an Aura and What do the colors mean?

Firstly, an Aura is something that psychics, or others with a clairvoyant vision often see. However, you don't have to be a psychic to see it or sense it. You may see a light around a person's head or you may sense somebody's mood, and just get a feel about someone, like a gut instinct.

Learn more about Auras and what the colors mean.

Perhaps you have experienced psychic sight and seen the Aura of someone you have come in contact with, but have been hesitant to talk about it for fear of being doubted by non-believers. Come on over to www.boomeryearbook.com, and share your experience.

Cool! So the idea of halos on angels came from the concept auras, huh? Never knew that. Can a plain person see another person's aura even if he's no clairvoyant or psychic?

The scientific community dispels the belief that aura's exist and thus the scientific answer is no one, clairvoyant or not, can see an aura. Ok, putting aside my scientific hat, prior to when my daughter and I had our auras taken by the Kirlian camera, (we were on a yoga retreat in Massachusetts), the photographer who both takes and interprets the aura pictures told me that I was a healer, either medical, emotional or spiritual, as her naked eye saw green in my aura. Then she sucked in her breath and said "and you are clairvoyant, you are surrounded in white"! My instant response was to laugh and say "nope, no clairvoyance that I know about, but ok on the healer part as I am a psychologist and feel I do my best to try to help people." Well I really don't know the validity or even if the Kirlian camera can somehow be manipulated to create what the photographer wants (I don't think so as there were dozens of people each of whom had unique auras taken the same day that Courtenay and I had ours taken), but man was she right about the white in my aura.
Is it a fun trick or somehow yes, some people, using their third eye chakra or second sight, actually do have the gift of being able to see energy colored auras? I don't rally know. I'd love to hear what you think.
