Common Themes in Dreams

There are hundreds of common themes occurring in dreams. Some people even believe that each theme has its own specific meaning. There are a number of books you can read on the subject. If you dream about bears there are answers to what the bear symbolizes. If you have the ever common chase dream, there are different answers to what that signifies.

I often have falling Dreams... is that bad?

courtenayt: Falling dreams are absolutely not a bad thing. I like to think of dreams and particularly anxiety or scary dreams as "alarm signals" or wake up calls in your life. Firstly I would suggest you take a look at what falling means to you both in your dream and in life. Some people love the feeling of falling, i.e.. "free falling" in which they feel like they are free or flying. Others may feel terrified like they are falling and don't know where they will land or feel helpless etc. Figuring out what falling means for you is the first step to understanding why you are having these dreams and how they reflect what is going on in your life at the time. Moreover, examining what these dreams mean to you will help you to reflect on how you feel about circumstances in your life which bring you that much closer to figuring out what actions you may want to take to enhance those parts of your life or yourself as well as figure out what you may want to change.
